A beautiful brooch depicting a hummingbird fluttering at a fruiting plant. The brooch appears to be a thin layer of metal (tarnished as silver would) painted over with vibrant red, green, and gold, and backed with a plastic. The brooch itself is very lightweight, so is most likely mainly plastic. The back features a “c” clasp with a brass pin.
Condition: as you can see there is much wear, which I think gives it its charm. The brooch remains structurally sound and is wearable.
